The new bachmaier® cord CUSTOMFIT is mounted in no time at all and guarantees maximum wearing comfort. Due to the wide-meshed processing and a special coating of the cord, there is hardly any noise due to friction on the clothing. The connecting element between the cord and hearing protection serves as a release point in the event of excessive tensile stress and at the same time interrupts the sound conduction between cord and ear. Due to the use of thermoplastic elastomers, this connecting piece is elastic and particularly tear-resistant. All parts of the cords are flame-retardant and 100% detectable due to the finest metal particles in the material (<150µm). The cord can be quickly attached to the clothing with the help of the clip. The clip has a plastic profile and holds reliably to the clothing without causing holes. The cord fits all earmolds starting from a 2.9 mm handle hole - whether rigid or soft hearing protection.
The bachmaier® cord CUSTOMFIT has been tested by PZT GmbH (Bismarckstraße 264 B, 26389 Wilhelmshaven, Germany) and fulfils all requirements according to (EU)2016/425 (triggering at tensile force) as well as EN ISO 352 (non-flammable materials).
